Lots of new ideas and orders.

Well I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. I currently have 6 new custom birthday orders I am working on. 

Everything from Pirate, Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, Dinosaurs, Candy Party, Rainbow party and unicorns. 

Plus I have 3 children of my own who's birthdays are in March.  Yikes...I gotta get busy....lol   :)

I will post some pictures and updates about each item in the morning... Right now I am going to try and drag myself to bed before I fall asleep while typing.

Dinosaur Party!

I know it has been FOREVER since I posted and I'm sorry about that. Since its a new year I'm hoping to get this blog back up and going... So without further adieu...

My current party I'm working on is a dinosaur theme for one of my WONDERFUL and Amazing Etsy customers! We have so many great ideas and plans for this party so stay tuned for updates on the items I make for it.

Sesame Street Party Poppers

Here are my recent creations for Madison's party. These are like small hand held size piñatas. I think I'm going to fill them with confetti and small pieces of candy so each child can have their own piñata fun that they can smash. I hope they have as much fun smashing them as I did creating them.

Sesame Street Party Banner

I just finished a party banner for Madison's birthday party. I think it looks totally great. It has Elmo, cookie monster, Oscar, Grover, Bert and all of the main characters and favorites on Sesame Street. I am also going to have these available for purchase in my Etsy shop.

Upcoming Sesame Street Birthday Party

Okay... So it has been forever since I have had an opportunity to post on the blog. Hopefully I will be back to regular posting now.

So I'm currently working on another birthday party. This one is with the theme of Sesame Street.

I'm so excited! I have so many fond memories of watching Sesame Street when I was a kid. And who am I kidding even when my kids watch it I can't help but watch along.

So Madison's birthday is coming up again and she loves Sesame Street. So what better way to celebrate than to have a Sesame Street party.

Madison's Birthday Dress

I just wanted to show everyone the dress I had made for my darling daughter Madison's 2nd Birthday Party.

The theme for her party is going to be "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" By: Eric Carle.

It's her Favorite book at the moment. I have to admit I love it too.

It's going to be SOOO cute!!!

Monkey Party Is Complete!

The monkey party turned out to be a huge success. Everyone had so much fun. I will post pictures from the party later hopefully this afternoon. I have to get the pictures downloaded to my computer.

I made a Practice Monkey Cake...

Okay I made a practice Birthday cake for Hannah.... I was not sure how to make a Monkey Cake since I have never done one before... I think it turned out quite cute. Tell me what you think...

Spa Party is Complete!!

Let me begin by saying we had a wonderful time at Halona's 10th Birthday Party.

Everything turned out so nice and the girls had so much fun. 

The pictures I have posted do not do the party justice however, I have missed placed my camera when we moved and I had to use the built in camera on the Nintendo DSI to take pictures. I will try and find my nice camera before the next party on the 20th.

Here is how our night went...

When the guests arrived they were greeted and given their custom made bath robes and party favor basket.

Each basket contained their own manicure set, pedicure set, terry cloth hand towel,  bath sponge, two empty lip gloss containers (cause we made our own lip gloss) and a empty bottle for when we made bubble bath.

There was soft classical music playing in the background and scented candles were lit everywhere.

The girls then put on their bath robes and then went to the kitchen for a few things to eat.

We had a veggie tray, chicken salad finger sandwiches, chicken strips,

Chocolate covered strawberries, white and dark chocolate dipped pretzels,

Water bottles with "Happy Birthday Halona" printed on one side, and "Water" with flowers printed on the other side. We used pink and white rose petals to accent the tables,  manicure and pedicure stations.

Once they finished eating we let Halona open her presents

 Then we went back into the kitchen to sing "Happy Birthday" and cut the cake.

I wasn't sure what type of cake to make for a "Spa Themed Birthday Party" So I just make a sheet cake to look like a present and used red fruit roll ups to make the ribbon on the cake.

More Party Details...

This has been a crazy week, I have just finished making the water bottle labels for the party and I am now working on the candies for the candy table and the treat boxes. I will add a picture of them this afternoon. I still have a lot of things to get done and Friday is almost here.

Spa Robes for the girls are complete!

I have just paid for the girls robes and I have to say they turned out wonderful! I am so excited.

More Details to the Spa Party!!!

Awhile back I decided that I would have Bath Robes made for each of the girls. So once they arrive they can put on their PJ's and Robes and let the party begin. Halona picked out the fabric which was Bubblegum Pink,

 and I found a wonderful lady named Susan on Etsy who is going to sew the robes for me.

More Parties in the Planning.

Ok I am still working on Halona's Spa Party, But I have two more children with birthdays in March so I am now in the planning process for those parties as well. Hannah will be turning 2 and her theme is going to be a Monkey Party. Since she is my aka.. Hannah Banana.....lol. Then there is Dustin who will be turning 15 this year.  I gave him the options for what type of Birthday party he wanted hand he has chosen to do a Glow In The Dark Retro Theme...  wow.... Looks like this month I am going to have my hands Full... :o)

Spa Party Invitations

I have just finished making the Invitations for Halona's Spa Party. I'm so excited they turned out so good. She wanted Green to be the main color of her party sine her favorite color is green. So I found some matching green Scrapbook paper and put my imagination to work. Here is what I came up with.

I made a sleep mask as the invitation. I hand stitched around the lace and used a brad to secure the photo turn, which is how the invitation opens to reveal the birthday party information.. 

I think they turned out so cute.
